Forius is the new name for NACM North Central - the Minneapolis-Saint Paul affiliate of the National Association of Credit Management.

But we're much more than this, too. For years, Forius has offered you and your company fast and easy access to an unparalleled network of expertise and experience - priceless knowledge to give you a critical business edge.

The world of business credit is changing rapidly. We know you and your company need knowledge and tools to make sound and successful decisions. We remain committed to delivering this to you, and even more in the future. Our new name marks a turning point ... a new era in our partnership with you ... a readiness to lead new collaborative business credit communities.

So we've changed our name and our logo and our graphic identity. But what remains the same is our absolute commitment to serving the function of business credit. We will always carry this purpose at our core.

In short, we're here for you - our members and customers, our industry partners and colleagues, and all those who have a vested interest in the world of business credit.

About Our New Name

Forius is a new word that comes from 3 separate words:

• FOR, from the word "forum"
• US at the end
• and, in the middle, the letter I, which stands for "inclusion"

The symbol in front of Forius represents the multiple points of view that come together within the realm of community - the variety of perspectives required to achieve collaborative wisdom.

A Brief History Of Our 110-Year-Old Business

May 26, 1896
The first meeting of 12 local businessmen " ... for the purpose of discussing the question of forming a local association of credit ..."

1912
The Minnesota Association of Credit Men, a chapter of the National Association of Credit Men, is incorporated

1916
North Central Credit Conference Association (NCCCA) is formed from NACM chapters in Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Duluth-Superior, Fargo-Moorhead, Grand Forks, Sioux Falls, and Winnipeg

1926
The North Central Credit Conference Association creates a service subsidiary called Associated Creditors, Inc (ACI)

1956
Associated Creditors, Inc. is renamed North Central Credit & Financial Management Association

1984
NACM North Central is created by consolidating all previous affiliated organizations

March 14, 2006 NACM North Central becomes Forius^TM Business Credit Resources!
